2021 Senior Nationals – Pre-Qualified Athletes

CEC would like to congratulate the athletes listed below who have pre-qualified for the 2021-2022 Senior Nationals – Boulder and Lead!

 

Qualification Process

There are two pathways to qualify for CEC Events – athletes below have qualified through Pathway #1. Other participants will need to qualify through the Provincial Pathway.

Pathway #1 – Pre-Qualification Pathway:

  • HPP Athletes
    • Current HPP Athletes will receive a direct invitation to the Senior National Championships.
  • Continuous National Ranking
    • Additional athletes ranked in the CNR (ex: positions 7 and 8) may receive invitations as well, based on event capacity
  • Youth Nationals
    • Top finishers from the most recent Youth Nationals in Youth A and Junior Categories
    • Exceptionally for 2021-2022, Youth B Reigning Champions have been included in Qualification Pathway #1 to counterbalance the effect of the COVID-19 pause.

The @ifsclimbing released, earlier this week, its 2023 Competition Calendar. There will be 12 World Cups in 10 countries, including six events in each of the sport climbing discipline: bouldering speed and lead.
